The Naked Roommate

Sometimes, “I’m single” means: “I’m drama free, less stressed, and I refuse to settle for less.” Well I'm not happy with this. I miss falling in love, being in love and more. What about you guys? Are you single and happy with that?

Take it from someone who's been through high school and has seen her fair share of high school relationships - they very rarely come drama free.  I would just encourage you to enjoy your high school years while you can, partaking in all the fun available to you, rather than letting it get spoiled by worrying about relationships.  I've found, and so have my friends, that the best relationships come when you're not looking for them.  And just remember - you're young.  You have plenty of time to find "the one" - don't let your worries of never finding anyone get to you!

I hope this doesn't sound too preachy - I've just been there before and don't want to see anyone be as upset and lonely as I was!

I guess I should rephrase that-I am in college now and I haven't had a boyfriend since Sophomore year in high school, LOL!  So that's why I said all of that stuff up above!

Oops, sorry!  I probably should have figured that out, since this site is devoted to college stuff.

Being single is nice because I feel like those who are single are more open with others and always want to go out and meet new people and have a good time. However, having someone in your life like as a bf/gf makes you feel special knowing that you have someone right by your side always caring for you. But along with having a bf/gf there is the constant thought of "what if?" which always drives me crazy
